Victor: never saw Grumpy Old Men. An old friend of mine did that to a Landlord who didn't want to give his deposit back. lol

forgive him but you don't have to trust him again. And the dead fish thing is actually kind of funny and I would like to say I would tell him but then I would be lying so hmmmm....I should proably stay quite on that one.

What good would forgiving him do? If it is going to make you feel better, do it. If it won't and it will let him off free, don't.

I assume it is his AC vent that reeks of fish? Nah, don't tell him just yet... wait until February or so, when the heat has been on for months (eew!), and then he'll have to turn off the heat to get the fish out so he'll have to freeze.

Jesus says forgive 70 x 7 per day. And yes you should tell him about the old dead fish trick you saw on the movie Grumpy old men. Forgive and forget. Love thy neighbor as thyself..

lol! yes you should forgive him, but dead fish in the vent seems like a natural consequence for his transgression-unless the shortchanging was inadvertent...:p

No, I would make him call back and ask for you to fix the new odor problem. Ask him for the money he owes you plus interest plus another service call, plus mental pain and suffering before you do anything else for him.

Forgiveness is a great thing to do, and you should do it, just tell him that you know he shortchanged you, and that you forgive him.
