Do they have daytime running lamps?
How do you turn on the fog lamps? Is it a little button opposite the "power source" (AKA cigarette lighter), below the temperature controls?

May not help but in 2000 Durango R/T daytime lights are standard, fog lights come on when you pull the headlight dial out after turning on driving lights or marker lights. Turn dial once and pull out, push in or turn off lights to turn off fog lights.

I may be wrong,but on some models, you turn on the headlamps and then pull the switch knob out a tad for fog lamps. But I can't remember which models. If you have the owners manual, it will be in it.
