I loved the history this gentleman shared through his ministry. I learned so much about our country and how it was founded on Godly principles. He was a blessing to me.

Influential conservative leader Dr. D. James Kennedy died Wednesday morning, church officials reported.

Dr. D. James Kennedy, president of Coral Ridge Ministries, is shown at Bruton Parish, a historic church in Williamsburg, Virginia where George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and others worshiped. Kennedy hosts One Nation Under God, a one-hour television special that offers evidence for the distinctly Christian character of America's founding.

Yes we will pray for his loved ones. He was a unique treasure!

His preaching/teaching did not "separate church and state", because the stare is not a god equal to God!!!

America's democracy was never controlled by the church, a la Islamic nations, only the STATE controls the believers, who ARE "the church"!
God bless the ministry he left behind! Who will now "stand in the gap"?

"Separation of church and state", was NOT in the constitution, and never needed!!!

He would've made a great president. James Kennedy rest in peace

Well this is a shock to me. I haven't heard yet. I visited his church just a few months ago. I should have gotten the clue when the greeter said they were praying for a worthy replacement. But I heard through another ministry he was recovering. Wonder what happened. Oh well, God only knows.

May God continue to work through the church at Coral Ridge. There is certainly no doubt about Rev Kennedy's place in heaven.

This is the first I've heard of it. Yes, I will certainly remember them in my prayers. Unlike so many other "tv evangelists", Dr. Kennedy , I believe was a true man of God and a great American patriot. May God grant comfort to the Kennedys and to the members of Coral Ridge Church.

Yes I will. Any one who reads my answers knows how many times I have recommended a book or DVD by D. James Kennedy. I have very few human hero's but, he was my biggest hero. I'm happy for him. I know he's with the Lord. I feel though that we still need him here.I feel for his wife and family. I know I feel like I've lost my best friend and I didn't even know the man personally. I pray that God will raise up someone who can carry on his work. Whoever they are they sure have some big shoes to fill. God bless!!

Really I had no idea. He was a sweet guy from what i saw on tv. Pavarotti died too today.

Side note: today would have been Freddie Mercury 61st birthday. Had he lived.
