A lot of people, both men and woman get nausea in the morning without being pregnant. Especially the men!LOL

It is usually caused by the revolting taste in your mouth or just your stomach wanting something to eat without you actually feeling hungry.

My morning sickness was 24 hour sickness. It never knew when it was morning. It happened morning, lunch, afternoon, tea and the middle of the night.
It was voilent nausea that was not relieved by eating or drinking or time. It always was followed by the enevatable. I drove that porceline bus constantly. It was the most awful thing to experience. Especially out in public or on a bus no where near your stop.

I don't think you have morning sickness. You don't mention any other symptoms of pregnancy. Sickness usually shows up a little while after the other prenancy symptoms such as sore breasts, mood swings, stomach cramps, missed periods etc.

When I used to get morning sickness it would hit me right when I woke up (it didn't matter the time of day). For me it was almost like a dizzy upset stomach, but I never ended up getting sick. I would feel better about 20 minutes afterwards.

It can happen when you awaken -- best remedy, keep some crackers or cheerios beside the bed so you can get something on your stomach to settle it.

It can happen any time of the day or night in episodes,
or you may feel somewhat nauseous most of your waking hours.

Vomiting may or may not take place. It varies from person to person, from one pregnancy to another, and from one day to the next.

Usually once you get past your 3rd month of pregnancy it will go away....usually.

For me, it felt like bad gas that I couldn't burp up, like it was stuck in my esophagus or something. Lots of nausea too. I got these "sea band" bracelets, though. They really helped a lot! Technically they're for sea-sickness, but my doctor told me to get them when I was having morning sickness and they really helped.
