If that is true I think it's awesome. Do you know that people, myself included get so depressed and discouraged at times by the vile things people say and blatant blasphemy that we have to stop going to that site for a while? Until I came to R&S I never heard anyone speak so cruely towards Christians, or any belief period.
I think Thiest, Agnostic,( Iforgot the other belief) and Christians should be sent to their respective corners( category) until we learn to be civil with one another.
I think (hope) that the haters and bashers were not in any of these categories but just mean spirited people who spew out filth because they can't hold a decent conversation.

I agree with you, it is just terrible.
However, it is a sign of the times. Everyone is afraid of saying something that will "hurt" a minority."
Now the schools in many states are prohibiting tag as a game for elementary school kids. the reason, it will hurt the self esteem of some kids.
Just think about how many words are being added to the forbidden list. Do you call that freedom of speech, I sure don't.
If Yahoo changes it to religion, it will be only short time until they change that to favorite foods, maybe that one won't hurt any body's feelings.

i do no longer truly suggestions the pop Qs in any respect in actuality i like some 80s and 90s pop we additionally don't get the Jonas Bros or Spears Qs anymore. they should chop up and make a Led Zep, Coldplay and The Beatles area and get those out of right here

Well I think it might be okay, but I don't know if you are making it up or if you are for real, I haven't heard about it. Anyway, I don't think it on gonna make a difference. People get so angry at people with other religions or beliefs. You know someone is gonna go to a catagory they don't identify with and still say mean things. So I don't think it matters either way.

I really don't care, but it will stop one religious mob from doing all they can to get us Pagans suspended, because if they come into our section, we'll report them and have them suspended.......
Poetic justice, I say, but it will take a bit of the fun out of R&S, as then basically everyone will be agreeing with everyone else...
The Christians can cut & paste scripture miles long and everyone will agree and pat each other on the back..,.

Edit: There are 1.3 billion Catholics out there who want to ask their Church questions without the interference of atheists and other religious groups. If they are not satisfied with our answer they can shop elsewhere.
We can have a "free for all" section just like this one where everyone can participate.

No one will like it.
The atheists will have no one to laugh at.
The fundies will have no one to condemn to hell.
Actually the second may not be true. How many Christian categories would there be? Yahoo may need to increase their server storage just to deal with all the names of all the Christian sects.
If it is just 'Christianity' we can bring the popcorn and watch them turn on each other after they have been denied the two great 'evils' of Islam and atheism.

If people want to talk about Christianity, they'll go to the Christian section.
If people want to talk about Islam, they'll go to the Islam section.
Making different categories doesn't prevent people from having different opinions about any certain category.
