This is from www.ancestry.com's One World Tree pages. At the bottom are listed the sources where the person who submitted the info got it. Is this your great-great grandmother?? I couldn't find any mention of her working for some outlaw.

have you tried google to see if you could find any stories on her and the outlaw?

also try rootsweb.com, familysearch.org to see if anyone else is working on her. You can also find her in the census. If you go to your local library homepage, check and see if they have a link to heritagequest, you can access it from home with your library card. There you will find the census

I was just about to tell you I'm a member of ancestry.com and I want to do look ups for people but the other person beat me to it.
