dont want to get heartbroken again?

ok well there is this boy i like at school. and he is really nice to and we hang out alot just not in "that" way . we are just friend. i have recently had feeling for him. how can i get his attention or have him ask me out before i do. i dont wanna make a fool of myself or get heartbroken. so i know its kinda of a dumb question but any help would be awesome from you guys.

im sorry in every relationship you make yourself vulnerable thats part of caring for someone --- if it does not work out then you will be hurt again --- it is painful BUT it is the only way to truly experience all the good things that a relationship brings ---- best wishes
