my lover back feels like a pinched nerve cuz my legs go numb amd i get such bad pain from my lower back to my buttocks, it comes and goes periodcaly. and it gets worse when i lay down in bed, i get paralyzed for a few seconds and then such bad,bad pain. can anybody help?

You have either got a bulging disk which will cause extreme pain and numbness. Especially when lying down or even sitting on the edge of seats.
Or sciatica. Which has the most violent, sharp stabbing pain just behind your hip area. The pain travels down your legs and into your lower back.
But I would say that your disk is bulging.
You need to make an appointment with a Chiropractor or Physiotherapist first. But go and see your Doctor in the mean time as he/she will want to oragnise a CT scan or MRI and you can then take that to your other appointment. It saves you having to go back another day, because they will send you away for these tests.
The Doctor will also order you some pain killers and most likely a low steriod tablet to releave the inflammation.

you need to see either an orthopedic doctor or a chiropractor. You've got to get treatment before you end up completely paralyzed. This is a serious situation and needs immediate diagnosis and treatment.

It is your Sciatic nerve, Go see your doctor. Your back is out of alinment. More than likely it wont go away by its self. I know there very painful.
