Sores and cuts visible : Use saline water to wash. Monitor. If still no improvement, bring to vet.
Lump only.:bring to the vet, possibly of a tumour.

It is confirm a tumor~
My hamster had it before when it was around 2years. Suffered for 5 months until it passed away.
I bought it to a vet but the nasty vet say a surgury will kill it anyway as it is too old and the best way is to put it to sleep straight away.
If it is a small turmor, the vet might consider remove it. Have a talk with your vet and see what course of action can your vet offers.

take it to the vet, it may be a tumor on his tummy, dont let it suffer by waiting around to see what happens, the vet can give you something to make it go away or have it surgically removed, and hopefully it will not be cancer. Hope You Hamster Get Better!!

tumors are sort of common in older hamsters. a vet can decide what you need to do.
