Yes, a lot of the questions are really just people venting their frustrations and opinions. I'm guilty of this, so I'm not being a hypocrite.
Go back and check best answers. Most often, the asker picks an answer that basically regurgitates what he expressed in his question. Not many are really seeking to understand or gain knowledge about someone else's beliefs, only to verify their own.

First off the Yahoo page search box should say: "Search for prior questions here first" (or something) - so people will look there first, then ask their questions if not satisfied.
There are so many new people that do not know their question has been asked, or know but ask the same question for different time zones around the world.
Maybe they want to make a contact list of people that think like they do, so ask questions that attract similarly minded people.
Best guess.
Peace.

Love your question btw. And my answer would be 'b' or the second statement. Even hints of burning in hell tells me this person has not done a total examination of the Bible. Consider: "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16 Think of that, not this temporary life where there is so much heart-ache. That is from the devil and his demons, which soon will be abyssed. 1 John 5:19 And, yes, there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. That will be here on earth. John 5:28

I am guilty of that. But I try to space them a few weeks apart and re-ask them when I feel that most of the audience has changed (several new members).

well, they're newbies. I absolutely hate it too. Its always the same questions too. I also hate when those questions get starred. One example: "why do R&S people are rude and offensive" I hate that. Shut up.
Good point there!

When people type in their question, and up pops the thingy saying "found 1000 similar questions" they think, "oh, not mine, mine is profound." Not me, though, I'm always completely 100% original:p

Human nature at its finest! We always learn more by listening...thats why God gave us two ears and ONE mouth.
People ask the same questions because they just dont get it! Plus, they dont want to have to THINK>
