Actually, I haven't seen the word "beaner" used tonight at all (although possibly some troll has used it). I like Mexicans. I like legal Mexican immigrants. I like Mexican Americans. I don't like those who ignore and circumvent out laws OR who come here illegally, no matter what the reason. EVERYONE who wishes to come to America has a great reason, and just because they find it convenient, doesn't mean that Mexicans have the right to ignore our laws and jump to the head of the line.
Africans, Asians and others all deserve the same opportunities and those who come here illegally are stealing those opportunities from them. They are also stealing opportunities from the American working poor.
They've deflated wages, stolen jobs by undercutting those who have to pay taxes and benefits. They've been responsible for hospital closings in urban and minority neighborhoods.
They've created a condition where families who were supported in unskilled labor for generations can no longer afford to support their families on jobs such as construction or lawn care or janitorial. These jobs have ALWAYS been hard work, but they haven't always been so low paying. OF course, companies love illegals....they are making money hands over fist by employing them instead.
If you care for America's working poor, you can't possibly support illegal aliens. It's quite simple. They've created more poverty for other minorities.

Unfortunately, the illegal aliens demanding services and waving a Mexican flag in the United States is what we all see on the news. They are not helping the Mexican immigrant cause here. The Americans that have Mexican roots will be swept up in it, too. The best thing they can do is speak English and distance themselves from this new militant group.

Being a truck driver I had the chance to meet a lot of Mexicans. I found 95% of them to be friendly, courteous & honest. I'm sure the vast majority of those sneaking across our border only want to earn a living. The shame of it all is the ruling class in Mexico is worse than the money class in the USA. Mexico is not a poor country but, The wealth is controlled by a very small elite group.

I live in San Antonio where the majority of the people are from Mexico. What I don't like about them is the way they favor one another when they work in government. They bring the Mexican government with them when they settle here. They show great favoritism to fellow Mexicans and have less regard for law and regulations than Americans. As an American I worked plenty hard as a framing carpenter in the hot Texas summer sun; as a hot tar and gravel roofer in the Mojave desert in the summer time. When I hired people I prefered to hire white people because I got more done with them. I did not abuse these people.
What I like about some of the Mexican people is their willingness to fight for what is right, and their love of God--like I said--some of them.

I don't think the situation is about not liking Mexicans, the problem is Mexico sending the poor by the millions for the U.S. to take care of them. The reality is they demean the value of labor by taking jobs below minimum wage. For that I blame the U.S. businesses. They use services such as education, housing and health that American tax payers have to pay for. There are Mexicans that want to cut in line of the immigration line and insist on rights such as amnesty. The problem is not the race, it is the stupid Mexican government that has abandoned it's people and people expect the U.S. to fix it. Americans should not have to pay for the ineptitude of the Mexican government.

I never hate anyone because of what company they are from. I just hate the endless cycle of poverty that illegal immigration causes. This means the person can not get a good paying job to support their family. They will be stuck in poor jobs with no chance of moving up. Than we have the companies that take advantage of them. Now if you look at how many successful legal immigrants their is in the country, makes you wish they wouldn't be so many people here illegally.

I have seen very few comments about Mexicans. However , I have seen many comments about illegals. Personally, I have never made a remark about Mexicans. Why are you trying to make this an issue about Mexicans, when it is really an issue about illegals?

1) Mexicans make up the vast majority of criminal immigrants in this country.
2) The Mexican government keeps making demands that we HAVE to allow these crimes to continue.
