hmmmm idk, i got mines done two days ago by the gun, it didnt hurt at all. it was over in a second. i was all confident when i went to the guy, but when i saw the gun i was scarred. he used a pen and marked where i wanted it then put alchohol on it and then pierced it. it was over in a second but my eyes started watering and spit came out of my mouth. but the guy said thats usual..but now im reading, that the gun can embeddel the piercing into the nose..i've noticed that it kinda is in a little. so i loosened the piercing a bit.
ive been using alchohol so far and i just read not to. my question is what should i do so it doesnt get infected and not embedded?

OMG, a gun on your nose? Illegal and not safe. Please get it checked out by a licensed professional at a piercing shop. Guns are dangerous and should only be used at the most on lobes. Please, go to a shop and have them check it out. I'm warning you, it may never heal and you'll have to remove it and get it redone with a needle. Always have a needle used for piercings from now on.
-Do NOT clean it with alcohol, use antibacterial soap, don't twist it much, or play with it that much either. Seriously, see a pro and not the same person.

Piercing guns are both unsafe and unsanitary, but that wasn't your question (if you want to read more on why, go to www.safepiercing.org)...You could potentially have a lot of problem with the jewelry because 99% of the time the stud that they use doesn't leave enough room for the tattoo to swell, thus causing what you refer to as "embedding". My suggestion would be for you to go and have it checked out by an APP (association for professional piercers, you can find them on the website that I gave to you previously) certified piercer. They'll most likely switch out the jewelry for you and probably charge you for it (it shouldn't be that expensive, $10 is probably what you're looking at paying). Alcohol is too harsh for body piercings. You also don't want to use any type of ointment such as neosporin. Try not to play with the jewelry, my guess is that the moron with the gun told you to turn it a few times a day...but this actually pushes the bad bacteria back into the piercing. That website that I gave you is like the holy bible of safe piercing. You can find great aftercare instructions, great piercers, and the answers to a lot of myths. Check it out. I got mine done a while ago and have 5 other piercings..The best way to keep it clean is to use anitbacterial soap 3 times a day. And saline solution at least 5 times a day. To get the inside of the nose soak a Q-tip with the solution and work it around the ring. That is the best thing and DON'T mess with it. Good luck!

If you dont mind, take it out and wait a while and pierce it with a needle. The best solution to use is salt and water. If you are worried, it is better to be safe than sorry. And ive heard the actual piercing doesnt hurt that bad. even though it does make people spaz (ive heard people pass out and stuff, but if you lie down that wont happen.)

Guns should never be used on any body part other than earlobes. That's lazy piercing on the piercers part. Don't go back to that shop! Here are some tips on aftercare.
Don't touch it w/dirty hands
Do NOT use hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, betadine, or any other type of ointment on it!!!!
Spray it throughout the day w/h2ocean (you can buy it at any piercing shop or hot topic)
Mix up a salt solution of warm water and sea salt, dip a q-tip in it, and clean around the piercing twice a day
You can also use a little provon soap at the end of your shower to clean it and you can purchase the soap at a piercing shop

go to a tatoo parlor and get the piercer to change it to a proper nose ring, I had mine done the same way and on the 3rd day it was imbedded and bleeding, I knew better but was impulsive, I paid dearly for it

If you are REALLY worried about it- take it out. But, other than that, just make sure that you clean it with any type of alcohol that you can get from a doctor. good luck
