I have a dull pain in my abdomen, but nothing that really bothers me. I'm just slightly nervous because my stools have been darker than normal the past few times I've had a bowel movement, and I've had a tiny bit of blood on the toilet paper as well. I believe this has happened to me once or twice before. Should I be concerned or is it just a passing thing?

It could be that your body is slightly constipated, this is something that happens every once in a while and is often times a cause for darker colored stool. Another possilbility is that you have a very small hemmorhoid. This is nothing to worry about, but it does explain the blood.

To help relieve constipation I would suggest practicing from basic massage on your addomen. Rub your stomach with a firm but comfortable pressure in a clock wise motion around your abdomen.

Very simple but it helps many people. I would also suggest getting it checked by a doctor though.

Certainly you are constipated.
There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 90% success in treating all pains confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy stale bakery foods and alcohole.
If you don't suffer from acidity use citrus fruit juice, green vegetables and salads, bread with bran. This will help clearing your bowels.
You should avoid eating without hunger and overeating.

I do think you need to report this to your family physician and let him/her take it from there. I know it's got to be scary, but don't put it off. Tar-colored stools with blood are nothing to be lax about.
