I can't remember the last time I saw a bride wearing gloves.

Many do. Especially in more conservative churches. I was married in a Catholic church where strapless dresses and things showing a lot of skin were frowned upon so I wore gloves. It looked very elegant. They came right off after the ceremony, solved the problem and stayed on better than a wrap or something would have. If it's good enough for Cinderella then it was good enough for me!

Yes, some brides still wear gloves, but it is not as common as it once was. If you like the look then I say go for it! It is a very elegant, formal throwback to hollywood glamour style.

Good luck!

I don't think I've seen gloves on a bride for years. I have seen them at bridal shows, so apparently someone is wearing them. I don't really see what purpose they serve.

Not a lot which could be even more of a reason to wear them, to be different. I think they look nice I just get confused about the placement of the ring when you are wearing them because I don't want to be struggling to get it off during the ceremony.

Who cares what other brides do. If you want to then go ahead. If done right, you could totally rock 'em.

Honey if it suits your outfit and you want to wear them, Go Right Ahead. After all, when else are you going to get to wear them?

I think they are very elegant for a wedding and you wouldn't need a manicure. Downside-I bet they are stifling hot!
