The bed itself is unable to give a person back pains. But any back pains you may be experiencing may be from lack of back support or from the position you are used to sleeping in.
I would suggest switching the way you sleep:
*If you sleep on your side, place pillows under your knees so that your knee is in line with your hip.
*If you sleep on your back, try placing a rolled up pillow under your knees. It helps with lower back tension.
*if you sleep on your stomach, place a pillow under your abdomen.
These three suggestions should help straighten you back and help get rid of back pain.

yes, the problem with the tempurpedic type foam toppers is that it molds to your body and stays in that position. Therefore it does not give support to the back. I do not like these toppers or the mattress because they can cause more back problems.
Remove the topper and it may take time for your body to get used to the regular mattress, but it will.

Sounds like bad timing, the makers claim for it to relieve back pain, but if its just a topper, take it off for bout a week, and see if theres any change.

it's very possible. a too soft mattress can cause alot of pain b/c of the lack of support. take the extra top off for a while and see if that helps. sweet dreams.

I want you to ask which of the Disney Princes would most likely suffer from performance anxiety. It wouldn't feel right if I did it.
