No! We should not rule over Mexico. But I think if they sold it to us and we bought it like we did Hawaii and (my state) Alaska, then maybe they could have a chance on prosperity finally.

The America that we have today should not even be entrusted with the education of our children. The current US is a joke. US ruling over Mexico?! They'll start a revolution with Pancho Villa as a leader. And it won't happen. All the other countries will be mad. WW3 will knock at the door.

Their government is corrupt because there are a limited number of light-skinned wealthy men who could ever reach office. In the same situation with Chavez in Venezuela, they convince the poor that they are working for them, when they are deceptive because they keep the poor impoverished and the rich get richer and make up a single-digit percentage of the population. I have seen firsthand how bad things are over there, and that's why I personally cannot blame anyone for emigrating in order to lead a better life over here. They know it would be better because they seek the U.S.A. You'd still have your severe gang problems (like all the beheadings last year) and the rape and murder, so you'd have to clean out the whole law enforcement system, but structurally, you have to think about how the middle class would rise as opposed to the povert they're in now. There is no easy answer.

Do you have any clue how a lot oil is in Mexico? you think of the section now common as Texas replaced into the only "reliable" land? you certainly have faith for a 2nd that the full of Mexico could be some form of utopia if it had that land? you're the two a troll or quite naive.

Without a doubt. My grandson just got back from Iraq and he finds it as odd as I do that we will turn our backs on the suffering of our neighbors and force (at gunpoint), our way of life to a country that doesn't even understand democracy.
Here we are in America. Overflowing with Irish descent (sp) while England still occupies and suppresses the freedom of our families in Northern Ireland and America stands dormant.
Could it be that freedom is only an issue for those countries who have large oil holdings?

Personally, I don't think there's any hope for Mexico. They would have been a better place if Spain had stayed.
