Well most of it looks like sh*t to me. But I did buy my kids (3 &2) a chair there. It looks like a pod, with a little pull down front, and it spins. They love it, keeps them busy gettin dizzy for hours, and it make me laugh my as* off watching them.

Ikea is what it is....a low cost knock down furniture option with some style. It can get you started if you don't have much money to spend but it's not the place for quality. High quality scandinavian furniture is very expensive and quite beautiful. I worked for such a high end store years ago. One bed could cost $5000. This is not Ikea's market nor do they pretend to be.

I hate the place. The last time I was in one of their stores, I could not find any of the products that I had seen in the catalogue.
The other shoppers(mainly women) were walking around like zombies putting any old tat into their trolleys because it was cheap.
It amazed me how gullible people are. I would rather go to a junk shop and buy an old piece of furniture that is solid wood and paint it up, creating a unique item. Cheap too!.

It still beats the home-produced English sh*te if you ask me.
Ikea over MFI anyday!!
And no English furniture store sells meatballs or elderflower lemonade or has child care facilities.

lol, yes, but its so cheap and fashionable you think you are getting a bargain. you get to the checkout, find you have a spent a fortune and those candles you bought make not a jot of difference to your front room.
but come on, how great is the hot dog counter..lol!!

Although never take a man, its carnage - me and my girlfriends go at least every month and buy ridiculous rugs, candles, vases etc its a tradition.
Plus the hotdogs rule.

you have to be careful about what you buy there- there's a lot of crap, but some decent things, too. You get what you pay for!
