Simply put, there's no baggage. Younger women are still fairly naive and they haven't become jaded from previous relationships that went bad. Most women are still nice at this age. It's only AFTER the old geezers use 'em up and screw 'em over that they become evil. So I guess middle-aged men are looking for emotional virgins who will treat them like kings because most women their age will kick 'em to the curb like the dirtballs they probably are.

Mary I'm certain that some of them view these younger females as trophies to have hanging off of their arms. Others are probably trying to pretend that they are actually younger then their real ages. Still others are not mature enough to deal with a relationship with a woman that is their age. But keep in mind that this response is from a middle aged man that is married to a middle aged woman.

It's called mid-life crisis. Woohoo I'm 50 and I'm pulling a chick who's 23, what an ego boost, I'm such a man. Trophy wife thing.

lots of reasons -- and some have nothing whatsoever to do with trying to recapture youth or a trophy girlfriend --- sometimes there is a spark felt by both and you would be crazy to ignore it --- i say this with great conviction as my lady is a lot younger than i am very sensible and mature and she cares for me as i care for her --- i did not go looking yet we found each other --- have fun
