lol Funny stuff. He would tell us we have the patience of saints. I think we should find them their own planet. Or, better yet, find us one that isn't so corrupted.

I'll save the crucified part of the question to others, but as to how long Jesus is apt to hang around Christian Fundamentalists, I imagine two or three minutes will pass before he gets his daddy on his cell phone and says he's stopping by hell and picking up a New Orleans jazz band on his way back to heaven.

You know, this is one of my favorite rants. It goes something like this:
Jesus traveled around the countryside of Judea for a couple of years, teaching people to love one another and occasionally healing a sick person or raising the dead just to show the power of faith. Nothing bothered Jesus. He could handle sin and human failing, even disbelief. He never lost his cool. As he rode off into the sunset folks would say 'What a sweetheart! What a nice Jewish boy! And you say he's the son of God?'
Until he came to Jerusalem. There he saw how the leaders of his religion had sold out, had conflated politics with religion, cosied up to the centers of secular power for their own self-aggrandizement and social position. That really pissed him off! Not the sin, not the human imperfection, but the hypocrisy.
So he knocked over a table and said some strong words. And what do you think? Those hypocrites had him put down like a mad dog! "He's no son of -my- God!" they said.
If Jesus came back today, well first of all he'd be Jewish and Christian leaders would treat him with thinly-disguised scorn. If he then criticized or interfered with the worship of their -real- God, Mammon, they'd slap him down so low he'd have to stand on tiptoes to pitch marbles!

I think if Jesus came back from the dead, culture shock would hit him hard. Also, he would be dissapointed to learn of the dumb wars fought over religion, his religion included. Most dissapointing, would be finding out how much his teachings have been changed by man. He would learn that man seems to tweak christianity to his own needs. He'd be able to stand the christians, but they wouldn't be able to stand him. They'd call him a false prophet and crucify him. How Ironic

Touchy, touchy question.
Do you like making a target of yourself?
If Jesus was truly the extraordinary man, I feel certain he was, I'd say what Max Von Sydow did in a Woody Allen film; "Hannah and her Sisters."
He, Jesus, would not be able to stop throwing up!
But I do not think his condition would be because of Christians
only. It would result from getting a sense of people, after he tried so hard to teach them improvement!
And by the way, people act and react toward one another, after his painstaking attempt at teaching the human race, he'd be crucified on the spot, the very moment he'd descend on to earth!
Sad, but his sacrifice, as well as Socrate's was WASTED ON US, for the very, very most.
I would have just given up and moved out of Dodge in a hurry.
However there are exemplary people who do not realize they should waste nothing of their extraordinariness on human riff-raff!

it somewhat is as a results of the dying of our dating with God, that Jesus got here to reestablish, that there is confusion approximately those issues. There are 2 forms of dying stated interior the bible. One is the place somebody "dies" and is buried. the different is "the lifeless" in "enable the lifeless bury their very own lifeless" who're those with out any understanding of God. the 2d is the form of dying that Adam and Eve had whilst they lost God. So dying as quickly as we bury somebody isn't a punishment, that's although a source of rigidity and situation because of the fact we did not understand sufficient relating to the way God meant existence and dying to be.

Those non-believes will suffer the consequences for not believing.God is not forcing you but if you don't believe good luck because life won't be a trip to the beach it'll be a hurricane............it will be between life and death

He'd have a meeting to discuss the disunification etc. Not crucify himself. He died for our sins (once for all mankind) all we do now is act for forgiveness sincerely.

I think he will come back and be very surprised.
He will ask what all these Gentiles are doing calling themselves the children of God, when he made it very clear in the book of Matthew that he came for the Jews, not the Gentiles.
John G is right lets discuss recipes in the R&S section

He'd hate the way his teachings have been twisted. I can see him being like how he was in the Temple in Jerusalem. So many bad things have been done in his name. I'm sure he'd be ashamed about that.
