Spiritual warfare is described in Ephesians 6:12, which says,
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
But notice that this passage of scripture says nothing about struggling by means of casting out spirits. Verses 13 and following encourage believers to put on the whole armor of God, to take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and to pray with all manner of prayer and supplication, and to supplicate for the saints.
Here are a couple of passages dealing with false prophets and spiritual warfare ....
2 Peter 2 describes and denounces false prophets who will be active within the church until the second coming of Christ. Peter exposes their self-centered motives and conduct in the first three verses, and then pronounces their condemnation (4-9).
Jude 8 and 9, in a similar warning about false teachers, gives a specific example of this kind of incident. Jude uses almost identical language when he notes that the false teachers "defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties" This is an example of the ignorance of God's Word leading to wrong practice in the area of spiritual warfare. No wonder many are growing weary and dropping out of the battle. Many are following leaders who are leading them on wild goose chases through beliefs and practices that open them up to attacks from the enemy rather than the advertised protection from the enemy.
Believers can only develop true maturity through Bible study, day to day spiritual growth which teaches us to keep our eyes upon Christ and not preoccupation with the demonic.

an oxymoron. If you're truly spiritual there is only peace.A false prophet is beneath your contempt, forgive him.Jesus was upset that the temple of the Father had been desecrated, that's different. He basically set the hypocrits straight and left them alone.I think that your looking for Biblical ammo for some imagined religious "battle" is sad.Get a grip, you're not helping anyone that way.

We are to call it as it is.
As seen with Peter with Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8 and with Paul with the possessed slave girl in Acts 16.
If you are going to engage in spiritual warfare, unsheathe your weapon and fight.
