Why doesn't he fund the Vets which he has created in his War Lord ways?

Bush thinks that getting into a combat situation is for lesser beings. He believed we should defeat Vietnam, but he thought his talents were needed to defend Texas from a possible invasion from Mexico, so he joined the Texas Air National Guard to avoid the draft. (At that time, the NG stayed home.)

It wasn't easy to get into the TANG because he did poorly on his aptitude test. Daddy had to pull a few strings so that he could jump over a few hundred better candidates. When he got in, he found that it was all too boring, books to read, etc. So he transfered to the Alabama Air National Guard and promptly disappeared into a political campaign. Nobody has been able to find all the records.

When the invasion from Mexico came, he was nowhere to be found. Now, there are 12 million illegal Mexicans on this side of the border. It's all Bush's fault!

Why are you calling Bush a War Lord? Usually that entails picking fights that are unjust. And if you think this war is unjust, maybe you should educate yourself in an area other than the media. My husband is a Marine, has fought and was injured in Iraq in '03 (before Baghdad fell) and he'd go back in a heartbeat. He also served in HMX-1, the President's Helo Squadron. My brother has also fought in Iraq in '05 and he'd go back as well. Most Marines I know are volunteering to go. As a Military wife, no I don't want my husabnd to go cause I love him and want him home with us, but on the other hand I married him as a Marine and knew what I signed up for. I also don't want our sons or my grandsons fighting this war in another 10-15 yrs from now like we are from Desert Storm. I am sick and tired of uneducated people talking trash on our Commander in Chief. Also remember that congress has to approve any invasion the US does. They also have to approve the funding. I have met Mr. Bush, I was able to talk to him and look in his eyes. I saw how genuine he was and that he really wanted to be there. I have more respect for him now than before I met him. I want us to finish this war, so we aren't back here in the future. We all see the negatives and the reports that one more solider has died. We've lost around 3,000 men and women, but the insurgents have lost over 100,000. I'd call that pretty good odds in our favor. The civilian casulties are results of terrorist bombs, not our soldiers. Quit talking like Bush's job is like working at McDonalds. He has to make some of the toughest decsions. Yes he knew our guys were gonna get hurt and killed, but he also saw 9-11, an unprovoked attack on our country. He had to do something. Our soldiers are Heroes. Shame on anyone who says otherwise.

To all you people that think our President is a War Lord and anything else negative, I wonder if your opinion would change if you lived in a country like Iraq, before the United States Removed Saddam? You should be thankful for President Bush and our Soldiers that are fighting for the oppressed around the world. Why don't you ask our Soldiers if we are making a difference in Iraq, instead of telling the world how selfish and Stupid you are. How is it in LA LA Land?

Having met the President (for 2.8 seconds) I do believe that he respects the men & women of the US Armed Forces. Funding isn't the Presidents fault, it's Congress that approves the budget & the military's funding.

I wish you could see what our military had before Bush. Remember he tried to get money for the war soldiers and congress put restrictions on it. I think we all need to suck it up and do whatever we can for our soldiers both active and retired. And ask ourselfs why Congress tries to make it harder for our military personel

Sure he respects vets but you are a totally different thing. How could he respect someone that is always putting him and other Americans down? I know I don't.

Good Question it is not only Bush but other presidents whom have over looked the Vets they create...leaving them homeless, and disabled... It's a shame that they give so much for our country, and in return they are not taken care of, shame on all the presidents for ignoring the situation for to long... No I don't think Bush has any respect for anyone who works hard or dedicates their lives to this country.... he shows none, and what he does seems just as fake as him!!!

No, I don't think so. I heard wounded US soldiers have to pay-with their own money-for medical treatment. Which other state on earth doesn't sponsor its own wounded soldiers medical treatment?
