Do we really have free will if we either completely follow God and his Son which would put the holy spirit in us so to say, wouldnt Father, Son, and holy spirt be controlling our lives. And if on the opposite end if we did not follow God then it is said you are working for the devil and he controls you. So either way it is almost as if you have no free will?

No, you have some logic errors there.

Just because you allow God's Holy Spirit into your life and do your best to follow Him, does not mean that He controls your life.

God never takes away your free will. By allowing Him into your heart, you put yourself closer to God's heart, but that doesn't mean He takes over your mind and tells you what kind of cereal to eat every morning and ties your hands behind your back so you won't sin.

It only means that you are open to being guided by Him in your life. You can at any time choose to stop following His guidance. He's never controlling your actions. Never.

And the devil can't control you unless you let him.

Well it's ur choice if u want to follow god or not. That's what free will means. Obviously if u want to follow god then u want to live by his law. The holy spirit is not there to control us, its there to guide us. Satan can't control u either. He can influence u though. Think about it, he could say " jump of the bridge!" or u gonna do it or not? See, free will. Or ur about to turn, are u gonna turn left or right? no one tells u what to do, U choose. Remember adam and eve? they weren't forced to eat the fruit, they choose.

I've come to realize that we don't actually have free will until we accept Jesus as our Savior... He gives us the freedom to be all that we were meant to be.

Jesus said, "I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can't come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through."

We do have free will. We make the choice to follow God. He never takes that away. If He did we would be free no longer and worshiping and serving Him would be meaningless without choice. I'm sure you agree that any relationship worth having is one of free choice
