Presuming the drills were MUTA-4's you've now missed 16 Drill Periods.

Without a damn fine excuse your going to be reduced, processed for discharge and out into the IRR.

Where you will face call up and Duty in Iraq, because you were "Bored"

Your a perfect example of Darwinism in Action

ACTUALLY, being as how I spent some time in the Guard, as long as you make the rest, they can give you some "chit" over it, but as long as you make enough drills to be counted for a "good" year you'll be okay. Not many guard units push UCMJ unless they are activated- too time consuming for them. The key though, is to make enough drills, (which does include your 2 weeks, which is key) to have a credited "Year". You can only miss so many drills a year, and most of the time you can "make them up" by drilling on other weekends- you just report to the ADSW guys or the Active Guard soldiers. (I do forget how many drills you HAVE to make, but of course, I made all of mine)

Also realize, that if you dont make enough drills, they put you in the IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve). What happens here is its one of those "didnt show up to drill because its boring" and theyre not going to make you show up- so they IRR you and when they need people overseas they tap the IRR first- now if you dont go its desertion. Remember, you signed the contract. Be an adult, do the right thing. It could be worse. You could be hot, dirty, and getting shot at/blown up by IED's. Must be so rough to attend weekend drill.............

Its would be nice if time wasters like you were forced to march up and down outside your local Mall carrying a sign that says:

"I am so ashamed to have joined up because I am bored with doing weekend drill, I have no self-respect, Please forgive me, serving Military Personnel and U.S Veterans for my disgraceful behavior"

The more of your type named and shamed in the local community would teach you life is not a game.

Um your a coward, and a weekend warrior, seriously how hard is it to do one weekend a month and two weeks through out the year. Your screwed, and most likely AWOL Thats article 86 Unauthorized Absence and you are now facing a Non-Judicial Punishment. Good Luck.

Get your --- in and talk to your CO. You are going to catch hell but the longer you wait the worse it will be and your military record will show that you were AWOL 8 times. Hang in there it's not the end of the world. Been there done that.

Call your First Sergeant and take your lumps or you are going to get dishonorably discharged and reduced in rank to E1. Good luck getting a job, loan, etc., etc., with that on your record. It will follow you around for the rest of your life.

But it's your choice.

You are lucky you are not in jail. You will no doubt be "busted" to a lower rank and will lose pay, you might be court martial-ed.
So, why didn't you fulfill your obligation? Are you some kind of lazy loser? Frankly, you need to grow up and learn that ADULTS honor our promises. Maybe you don't deserve to wear that uniform........

I think the Guard can put you on active duty and send you to war. It's caIled IRR or something like that. Once they put you on it, you can be called up by the Army and hauled off to the war.

Ahhhhh....another "No Load" Reservist. The majority of you are useless anyway (my apologies to the small percentage who do fulfill their commitments and do make a difference), why bother ever showing up?

so, since it's boring, you decided to enlist in the United States Military.

The US Armed Forces is only for those who are ACTUALLY dedicated, and care.unlike you.

you need a reality check, and fast.
