Fueleconomy.gov has mileage ratings and Consumer Reports has an annual car buying guide you can buy or check a local library for info on safety, reliability and average price of lots of various cars and trucks---invaluable buying tool. Always have a used vehicle inspected by a mechanic you trust before buying to spot any problems. Some people also get basic maintenance repair quotes on items like brakes, shocks, exhaust, steering gear, etc before buying to see what kind of costs they may have in the near future or maybe price out a used car warranty. And check insurance price differences, if any, between them.

The Durango is a notorious gas hog.The Villiager isn't much better, and they're known to have transmission and electrical problems. The Saturn cheap, good on gas,but unreliable car.The Sebring is nicely styled, good on gas, good handling, reliable and will hold it's value better than any of the others listed. My opinion and experience.

All of those cars are gas hogs... unreliable gas hogs.

You need to be looking at toyota, honda or subaru... Then look no further.
