You are mostly water. In fact, if you took the water out of a 180 lb lean body, there would only be 55 lbs left. Because your muscles, your brain, your blood and sweat are mostly water. Water is very good for you, but too much of a good thing isn't. Don't down a bunch of water just because you think it's going to work some kind of miracle for wrestling. Sure, you will be hydrated, but you might consume too much of it and get sick, and that isn't good for your sports career, is it? Do everything in moderation, and you will be fine. I don't think it'll help you make weight, either, if you need to drop a few........if you are trying to gain it'll just make you feel bloated and sluggish....so I don't know what you are wanting this water to do for you....

Yeah you can drown your brain if you drink too much water, not to mention give yourself a crippling stomach ache. Once i tried to drink 7 glasses of water in a row and I don't know what is more painful, the stomach ache that followed or chopping off a limb.

Are you asking if water will help you with wrestling? Well, water helps with anything. Especially with doing anything physical. Something else that will help you would be to hit the gym and work on it all, arms, legs, back, chest and abs, and buy a medicine ball.

Amateur or Pro Wrestling?

If you're working out and taking supplements the water will be retained in your muscles which is not good if you have to make weight for matches.

I agree with the first guy. You may be drinking too much water. Remember, you do get water from fruits and veggies also. Have a nice evening.
