What do we believe? We believe in God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfilment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Why do we believe? We believe because God came to earth to live among us as a man, to repair the relationship broken since shortly after the creation. When we die to ourselves and are baptized into Christ, we share in his life, his love, and his wisdom. When Christ refused to recant his Good News and was tortured to death on our behalf, he conquered death by rising from the dead, allowing us to rise with him to eternal life.
How do we express our beliefs? We submit ourselves for baptism (Mark 16:16; John 3:5), believe Christ and put our faith in him (e.g., Luke 7:50, 8:12), renounce our old life (e.g., Matt 5:3, 10), repent of our sins (Matt 3:2; 4:17; 18:8-9; Mark 9:42-48), obey God, doing what is right and just (e.g., Luke 10:25-28; John 12:50), adopt the humility of a child (Matt 18:3-4; 19:14), eat the bread of life (John 6:51, 53-54), and endure to the end (Matt 10:22, 24:13; Mark 13:13, Luke 21:16-18).

We believe in Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
We believe in this because the church has brought us a rich inheritance of faith and teaching that reveals God's wonderful plan of Love for our lives.
We express our beliefs, by keeping the commandments, partaking of the rich wealth of the sacraments that the church has bequeathed to us, and by living out the great commission.
