Spanish help? appreciated.?

¡Hola! I'm suppose to memorize 6 lines of some Spanish but our teacher never told us what it actually meant. So here goes:

Adios decimos cuando nos vamos
Adios, amigo! ¡Adios, hermanos!

¡Hasta la vista! O ¡Haster luego
¡Hasta muy pronto! O ¡Ya nos vemos!

Y a todo el mundo con dulce voz
Al despedirme le digo ¡Adios!

I tried to do it but I am not quite sure what you are trying to say in the line after New York... if you could somehow write what you were trying to say I might be able to help a little more. I am not a native speaker, but have been in spanish classes going on my 6th year so I may still get some things wrong... Here is what I had so far... Cuando era niño, siempre tuviera gran planes para el futuro. Quería asistir a la Universidad de Nueva York en Nueva York para llegar a ser un médico. Sin embargo, Like I said, my spanish is not completely perfect, but that is how I would start it...
