There's evidence to suggest i could spontaneously combust at any moment, but I'm not too worried about my odds. I am somewhat surprised that the warheads were put on the wrong plane, but you're missing the fact that at no time did the weapons leave military possesion. They may have been in the hands of the wrong soldier, but they were still in a soldiers hands. They were loaded on a military aircraft, they weren't left at a bus stop. And the chances of these weapons being "accidently dropped" on their trip across the U.S. is rediculous. It takes an incredible amount of effort to arm and fire these weapons. Only in hollywood fantasies do big red buttons exist that can be accidently leaned on wrong and fire nuclear weapons. These days, something that valueable wouldn't just fall off the bottom of the plane, it would have to be TAKEN by someone for malicious purposes. The kind of people who arrange such a theft would have a much easier time buying or stealing their weapons elsewhere (like, say... North Korea) than scouting out american warplanes for the off-chance that just maybe one of them is carrying more it's manifest states it is.

That being said, I am disappointed in the men appointed to maintain control of these weapons. Knowing where those warheads are at all times is, or should have been, they're highest priority, and I'm glad they've been relieved of their command.
