You really need to find a job that suits you. What do you have a passion for? Try to find a job in that field.

Best of Luck,

I can't help you solve your problem because I don't know from what you've written what your problem REALLY is. For example, you say no job lasted more than 2 weeks.... do you quit or get fired? Do you NEED to work financially? What kinds of jobs have you had?

If you always quit you need to analyze (on paper) your reasons for quiting and base your next job on something that will avoid those problems. If you're getting fired, take an honest look at WHY you were fired. You're chronically late? You don't follow directions? You spend too much time on the phone? Chances are that if you've been fired from 4-5 jobs in the last year, the problem is YOU and only YOU can fix it.

In either case -- be brutally honest with yourself. Take a piece of paper and make two columns. On the left list the jobs. On the right list the reason you were fired/quit. Remember, BE HONEST! ....it's OK, no one's going to see it but you.... Now study what you wrote. do you see a pattern? Of course you do.

If you don't need to work, don't. Make more time for school and concentrate on that. Chances are that any job you get now while you're still going to school is going to be a "filler" till you are prepared for the career you're pursuing.

If you do NEED to work but just hate having to take meaningless non-challenging jobs, get over yourself. You need the money do the work. If someone is willing to pay you $$$ to stack BBs in a corner for 8 hours, you can suggest to them that putting the BBs in a container would be more cost effective but if they tell you they've ALWAYS done it this way and it works fine for them, stack them the best you can. Take it one day at a time and remember that when you get out of school someday you'll own the BB factory and can do it YOUR way.

Most people will stick with jobs for at least 6 months ,
Because any less than that and you don't learn anything .
The next employer knows that so as far as positions go ,
They offer the bottom of the heap .
Also , most people need to pay rent so they need to stick it out long enough to do that .

If the parents are paying your rent , then you don't have that pressure .
Unfortunately , it will not be long until your work record makes you look like bigggg O flake .

Many jobs are rarely lifetime keepers , but 2 weeks does NOT say good things about you ,
When you go to interview for a job that might be a keeper , management will see your record and might go "next" , thank-you for coming in , don't call us - we'll call you .

Time to grow up. You have to make yourself get up and get to work, on time. It does help if youre doing something you like, but it cant always be a job you love, most of us have too put food on the table so we need to work,no matter what, we just do it because we must. Personally, I tell myself I can make it through the day and I try to have some fun while Im working, your attitude makes ALL the difference. FYI, employers see job hopping as a bad sign, find something you like and stick to it, make yourself proud of yourself.

If you don't have a job how are you going to pay your bills? That is a quick way of comitting to it. Think about this ... how would you feel if you owned a company and people did that to you. Sooner or later people are going to catch on and then no-one will offer you a job because they will think "wow, she only started in this job for this amount of time ... she is not going to be here for long".

Don't worry about it. I'm in the same boat you're in. It's not that i can't commit, but those i apply to don't want to commit to me or give me a chance or keep me on long enough to be.
