when I had my daughter I have been given a bladder an infection some month later and the dr. informed me to drink cranberry juice (no longer focus because of the fact the excellent power works the terrific, that's at walgreens of their kind and different places carry purely the juice, ought to envision the label). I did that for twenty-four hours because of the fact the only liquid I had, as he instant. The bleeding and soreness with it stopped. Mine replaced into severe, i ought to easily see blood when I used the bathing room then. i might say use the pills given in the adventure that your dr. prescribed them or watch for the outcomes to make optimistic in case you pick for yet drink the cranberry juice. that's stable to flush out undesirable bacteria which contain your urine. It worked quickly for me and it is stable to drink the forestall different ones. i've got no longer had a bladder or a yeast an infection considering. I drink that and consume yogurt on a daily basis so I do what i will to sidestep those from reoccurring.

YES, a bladder infection can very easily turn into a very severe kidney infection and that can really cause problems. She needs to have her urine tested to find out which bacteria is causing it so that the doctor can give her the right anti-biotic, She should not engage in sex until the infection is cleared up as she and her boy friend could pass it back and forth since men ejaculate through the same tube that they urinate through. So if She has it than she can pass it to him and he can in turn pass it back to her. Tell her to make sure that she takes all of the medication even if she feels better because if she does not take it all some of the bacteria may still live and than start another infection if she doesn't make sure that it's all been killed.

If she has blood when she urinates
then YES as it is a bad sign of a nasty
infection that could spread to her kidneys if left untreated and can also scar the bladder walls.
You can get over the counter painkillers/fever reducers.
And tell her to drink cranberry juice or those sachets of sodium citrate from the pharmacy until she can see a doc for antibiotics
Cystits is so painful you have to get treatment asap
I don't know who has been giving out bad answers- we are all right! Haven't you got anything better to do?

YES! You HAVE to go to the doctor to get antibiotics. She needs to do this ASAP! If she doesn't it could turn into a kidney infection and be 10 times worse.

I would go to the doctor and ask for an urinalysis to check for infection. She could also have a yeast infection or sexually transmitted disease ( chlamydia, gonnorhea). In the meantime, drink lots of water and cranberry juice. They make a capsule containing high concentrate of the cranberry juice ( found in any supermarket where the stuff for urine infection ( itching) is.

oh yes, a bladder infection is caused by bacteria, those bacteria can spread to the kidneys and cause cystitis which can lead to renal failure, and you cannot live without your kidneys. It take antibiotics to kill off a bladder infection.

You'll need antibiotics to get it cleared up. All antibiotics require a prescription which require a visit to the doctor. If she doesn't want to go to a doctor because she can't afford it, she could go to a nurse practitioners at Walgreens or Wal-mart if they have those in your area. That'd be a bit cheaper and she'd get seen faster. UTI's can get very very serious if they don't get treated.

she probably should, because the infection can spread to your kidneys and cause damage. if she is in any pain, the doc will give her meds to numb the pain while also treating the infection. in the mean time, she should be drinking liquids that are high in vitamin C (cranberry juice, pineapple juice).
in the future, give her this advice:
-when you use the bathroom, only wipe from front to back
-pee after sex
-don't hold your pee (this gives bacteria too much time to multiply & spread)
