yes, Darvocet is propoxyphene and is a mild opiate. Not as sticky nor does it peak anywhere as high as Oxycodone or hydrocodone. It is totally synthetic and half life is about 4 hours.

Darvocets (Propoxy) are mild pain killers. They are indeed opiates and can be habit forming.

Yes a mild narcotic but interacts with alcohol in dangerous fashion.
