Yes, absolutely! My Rottweilers love them. And it's a healthy snack.
Good for you!

Yes it is safe. We have a male Chihuahua that has been enjoying peeled baby carrots since he was about 3 or 4 months old. Cold carrots help while getting new teeth. Watch stool for the signs of to many carrots and not enough Iams puppy chow.

My shih tzu loves baby carrots. I make sure I get the organic ones for him. I let him have a max of 5. For your baby maybe just break one or two up for him at the most. Start with half of one and see what he thinks and how his body reacts, then as he gets older and bigger you can give him a bit more. Everyone seems to forget that dogs in the wild ate different things and there is no reason for you dog not to have a nice treat as long as your feeding a good dog food.

Yes, it is safe to give your little Chi carrots if he wants them and can chew them. They will not hurt him. In fact, they are good for him. Lots of dogs learn to love carrots because they have a natural sugar in them and taste sweet. Dogs that hang around horses quickly learn to love carrots. I would use your judgment as to how many he should eat. A steady diet of carrots aren't good for him, but a few now and then won't hurt. Cooked carrots can be fed also.

Absolutley no reason why not. My lot love most veg, especially carrots! As your dog is very small, and very young, I owuld suggest perhaps cutting the carrots into fingernail sized bits, and using them throughout the day as training titbits. Also, I wouls only wash, rather than peel them, as most vegs' goodness is directly under the skin - not that I am a carrot expert of course! lol
Good luck
xx

Yes, it is safe. But use carrots as treats not as main food.
I gave my 5 months Yorkie tiny piece of baby carrots sometime. (About size of a peanut). About 2 - 4 pieces a time. Twice a week.

Our dog has food allergies so we give baby carrots as treat often. Just be careful as they may be a little big for a young Chihuahua. Most dog nutrition books suggest fruits and veggies. Make sure you know which ones to avoid, though, like grapes.

there's good people foods & there's bad people foods. most of it's pretty obvious - if it's good for us, it's generally good for them. and many dog foods are made up of human grade foods anyway.
table scraps = bad...carrots as a treat=not bad.
my pekeingese loved them and we had the go-ahead from my vet - the only thing about them is that they contain a lot of sugar. so really limit how much you let him eat to just a small piece one or two times a day (thumbnail sized considering his weight), or you may find problems arising from that.

My Queensland would rather have carrots than anything else. And would eat the entire bag if I allowed it.
I think the only problem you would have is to watch when he gets to the last bit that he doesn't swallow it and choke. Carrots are good for your eyes ...never see rabbits wearing glass? do you. (so that an old one)

Carrots are fine providing your dog eats it.
My dogs won't eat unless cooked and mashed in with their food. And if grated raw, it comes out the same way too! Looks undigested.
