You may be forced to use the VCR's TUNER on UHF/AIR setting to get another TV station for the PIP....

Or you can get TWO satellite boxes....

OR your TV's tuner can be used to get the local stations, and the satellite can be used for the second video source for your PIP....

All you do is select one of the Pip boxes, then set it for TV tuner or VCR input, then move to the other box and select the Satellite input....

Sometimes you turn off the pip, select one input, then turn on the pip then select one of the video inputs....Then you swap to switch which picture goes into which box you want...

Yeah, there's a multitude of PIP designs....you just have to figure out how your's works......

PIP requires two sources. You have one, the satellite so the other can be your VCR or DVD. HOWEVER if you are trying to catch two different channels at once then I think you need a two tuner satellite box.
