Were scenes of certain seasons of Power Rangers written years before hand when they was acted out?

A lot of the morphed scenes and scenes with monsters were filmed before hand - it is footage used from the Japanese Sentai series. But the storylines made here in the US are filmed at the time, with the used Japanese footage for the episode.

Certain scenes were created and acted out in Japan in their Sentai series one year before our own Power Rangers acted them out. Otherwise most of the scenes were made the year the series was put on tape.
