maybe i should just pick a couple up...letting them know that i have a job for them...then drop them off at ICE station?

Why don't you get your friends and yourself and go to Home Depot's Parking Lot and sit and take pictures of all the people who pick up these illegal immigrants and the illegal immigrants themselves. Be careful that you aren't too obvious because I wouldn't want you to get hurt. Then once you get those pictures, e-mail them to the Department of Justice, Bureau of Immigration or DHS. Better yet, fax them to the President of the United States and deliver copies to your Senators and Representatives. Tell them you want a reward for turning in illegal immigrants and those who hire, harbor and help them. Be sure to get the license numbers of all the cars and trucks and as clear pictures as you can. It would be great if your digital camer had a time and date stamp on it so your pictures would be dated when printed.
You don't have to send your name but be sure to indicate the address of the Home Depot where you took the pictures.
We have been doing this in front of the Union Offices, particularly the AFLCIO. They have an office locally here and every day, early in the morning, illegal immigrants are dropped off at the union office and they are picked up by cars and trucks. Between 3:00 and 6:00 in the afternoon, the same cars and trucks bring them back to the Union Office and they get picked up by others. This is organized crime at its finest and it needs to be stopped. We can do it, you can help.

I have always wondered the same thing, myself. If the government is truly serious about deporting illegal immigrants then this is an easy place for them to hit and it would be a great place for them to start and really make a difference and let people know that they are serious. I like the idea of Mindbender here.
Even if they pick them up, how many of them actually get deported? I know of an illegal Honduran who was arrested in Oakland, CA and after a few days in jail he was released with promise to appear for his deportation hearing. I know, you know, and the authorities know he will NOT appear for that hearing. He will simply move somewhere else and take on a different ID. Furthermore, this particular man has been deported from the US at least twice before! I thought I had heard that Immigration was no longer doing the "arrest and release" of OTMs, so I was very surprised to hear about this man that I know of being picked up and then released, again.

The parking lot at my Home Depot is packed with Mexicans looking for work, even after I paid two of them $5 they couldn't locate any hot young women. One of them offered to let his wife crawl all over me, but he showed me pictures of her, and he had to turn the camera horizontal to get her all in the frame. I decided to pass.

Around here if people see trucks picking up illegals a lot of those trucks have their tires slashed and windshields smashed.

Because they are so busy deporting so many criminals
and fighting the people who don't want them to be deported in courts. That they don't have time.
deportations under Bush are up over 600% compared to when Clinton was in office.

Great question. I think they work harder at not deporting. They don't hit the protests, either. Or the emergency room.
