John Kerry did serve in Vietnam. Two tours of duty. If your ship is in dangerous waters you receive a ribbon. President Bush served none. His happy hour would not allow it. Clinton did not serve. Neither did Bill O'Reilly. They both spent time in England. The biggest hawk, (VP Cheney)of them all had five deferments granted to him. I had none. USMC. 1968-71

I enlisted. As far as I know the Marines did not draft during the Vietnam conflict. John Kerry served on a Swift boat and he served on a naval vessel(Cruiser I think) for five months.) in South Vietnam territory. Democrats have the only medal of honor of winner in their ranks. Senator Bob Kerrey of Nebraska. He should have been president, not the fool that we do have.

They don't want someone else to get all their money. John Kerry was just a poor scum back then, all his money he married. But he was still ugly back then. I mean FUGLY.
Clinton just sucks, both of them.
Dubya, well, if your daddy runs the CIA....
Cheney, well, who knows.
Where does Bill O'Reilly fit in here?
I did not serve in Vietnam. I am Right. I was around but not quite old, enough, actually. I did manage to catch Grenada, Honduras, and the first Gulf Thingy. I was not a Jarhead. Army.

Same reason the richest presidential cabinet in history did not not, Clinton's cabinet never did and they are the richest ever under a president. The democrats as well. And for those which you save you are of that served thank you. Kerry did not trough his medal of Honor over the white house fence but an-others. He also gave himself the ward and did not follow the rule and his supervisor would not sign off on it so he did him self.

I did not serve as the draft stopped in 75 but would have and did expect to and would have in a heart beat. My first cousin was a chopper pilot and had been shot down many times and the army did not come in to pick them up north of the DMZ The Navy did and the sad truth like today is our politicians played with this and are doing so today in the middle east. Instead of letting our fine troops go out and kick ***'s and stop worrying about being nice so the world will love us which they never will as long as we are strong and on top, we need to win and learn from Vietnam let our boys do the job they are trained to do and take the libs and kick their *** also.
Or we are all going to be praying 5 times a day or dead missing our heads.

Now hold the phone here. My father was a "rich conservative" and he enlisted in January 1942. He could well have avoided the draft, but no. He did his duty in France and Germany. And he had the scars to prove it.

So before you start painting with a broad brush "rich conservatives" as cowards, perhaps you should consider that they are just as patriotic and brave as any group.

Now if you want to talk about Vietnam, where you had the guts to serve, who were the people of draft age that fought their enlistment the most. Conservatives? No. It was the Liberal elite. Rich college kids with a college deferment. Paid for by their rich parents. Those were the cowards. Not the conservatives.

Well if you might remember, when Bob Kerry ran for the Democratic nomination back in 1992.

He was called a facist, but other democrats. They accused him of war crimes during that primary season also.

So why did the dems, nominate a draft dodger Clinton, instead of Bob Kerry ?

And tell us, why did John Kerry's official campaign webpage, use Bob Kerry's bio on it, during the 2004 campaign ?

Tell us about hillarys, obama, edwards or bidens military service ?

And actually Sam Walton, founder and owner of Walmart, did have a son serve in Vietnam.

7 of the republican congressmen and senators who lost reelection in 2006, were veterans.

They were all replaced by democrats who refused to enlist.

And now you know why we no longer have a draft. I did 25 years in the Navy. Eight of those with Fleet Marine Forces. And I'm a conservative. But, unlike Kerry I did not try to meet with North Vietnamese negotiators while still holding a commission in the Navy.

John Kerry did not serve two tours in Vietnam. He served one and I'd hardly call it a tour....he served for 4 months in country. Dems and Reps both have people who served and people who did not. I was in the U.S. Army from 1991-1995. I was not in combat, but I did my time. I'm proud to be a Veteran. My brother is in Iraq right now serving in the U.S. Army.

I didn't realize that rich conservatives were such cowards. I guess I'm just not educated.
I had forgotten about the several tours that Bill Clinton spent in our country's service in combat. You'll have to forgive my ignorance.
I guess the reason we are cowards is because we are so rich and so conservative.
