I think this is the craziest thing I have heard of in a long time.
Tell me your opinion on nuclear stockpiles and the worlds build up of nuclear arsonals.
Is man destined to destroy himself?

Its unfathomable to me, coming from a USAF commisioned officer.
Its not the fact that a nuclear warhead was flying over the US, we routinely transport it that way. BUT what is disturbing is that the aircrew didnt know they were CARRYING nuclear warheads. For a few moments the warheads were unaccountable!!
Thats scary seeing how someone can steal it, and no one know. Bottom line no matter what you think, our nuclear arsenal should be safeguarded and accounted for 24/7.
Its especially shocking, seeing how the US criticizes Russia and other nuclear armed countries of not protecting and accounting for there arsenal and then we release news that we thought we werent carring nuclear warheads. THey should of kept in underwraps...lol- Its embarrasing internationally that the mighty US can make a mistake.
I hope that everyone involved gets there due punishment. The warhead posed no harm though, but it was unaccountable, and in the wrong hands....it very well can be harmful.

They fly nukes around all the time.... And the nukes were not armed.
It takes SIX steps to arm a nuke and even when a plane is flying on alert status towards "the enemy" only five of the steps are done..... The last step is not done without direct command authorization from the President of the USA..
Proof? Read up on how many times the USAF accidentally dropped a nuke and it did not go off. In fact, a nuke has never gone off by accident anywhere in the world.

This is why the government must keep some things secret, this occurs every day, what about the nuclear waste going down the rails, or the trucks with waste as cargo, it happens every day!

It seems to me that it's a lot safer to fly them to a new destination rather than drive them. How do YOU think we should transport them?
As for my opinion, I hope the human race destroys itself. We are the most hateful, destructive species on Earth.

Nothing to worry about. I just wish they would have dropped the bombs on Iran and Mecca.
