We just came back from the Disney Magic and had a great time. Doing some research and homework help prepare us for our first cruise. The Disney web site is a start. If you go to your local bookstore or AAA Vacation office, get the Disneycruise book. I found all the information inside very accruate on best places to eat, shore excursions, show schedules, seiminars/shpping tips, etc.

They'll also give you or send you a dvd that you can peruse at your leisure.

Another source is www.cruisecritic.com. This site has ratings and evaluations on all cruise lines and all ships...both good and bad points. Knowing some of the pitfalls helped us prepare for the cruise and set our expectations.

I have been on the Disney Cruise. It all depends on if you want the 3- 4 or 7 night cruise. You will leave out of Port Canaveral in Florida.
Try to avoid September - November as that is normally the highest hurricane season.
Are you taking children? They do have family suites on the ship.
If you have any questions, you can e-mail me.

You should contact a travel agent more than reading people's comments to make your decision. Travel agents can suggest you the best deals according to your needs and pocket. WWW.DREAMVENTURES.INFO offers that service through e-mail or yahoo messenger. I suggest you to contact them.
