Is it just me, or is finding true love so incredibly hard and frustrating? And, no matter how hard I try I get screwed in the end...

don't worry, I haven't found it either...and when you think you are close to discovering it, it has a way of just becoming one of the most painful things to deal with...mentally and emotionally. But I still believe in it and I hope one day you will find TRUE love...because if its painful and frustrating, then it really can't be true, can it? it has to just feel comfortable, and right.

To my understanding, true love is not something that can be forced or created. If you know yourself and know what you want, it will be easier for that special someone to recognize you. If you have been down on your luck with relationships, you just have not found the right one yet. True love is not an overnight thing, unless you believe in love at first site. Keep your hopes up, and be someone worth loving, or else it will never find you.

You can't find love, love will find you. It always happens when you least expect it, don't try so hard, it's wrong. It's not about you at all, there is someone special waiting for you somewhere, and you'll meet her someday, and you'll know that she is the one. There is always the one in the whole world that will like you just the way you are and accept you as who you are, and another advice don't ever change for someone else, ever.

It's all a matter of perspective. Finding true love is not easy. Keep trying. You gotta keep on fishing until u hook up with the right one.

i think it's the hardest thing in the world!once,you find sby and you think he's/she's the one,they leave!and you realize that they never truly loved you,from then on,you don't open up and love as freely as before!

I went 17 with no girlfriend, then I fianlly get one, and I fell in love with her. It's an amazing feeling. : )
