Is there such thing as a coaxial cable entender, that works similar to an ethernet extender (plug the 2 pieces into an electrical wall outlet)?
I am trying to install a satellite dish, but I cannot mount it anywhere outside and that would be close enough to to just run a coax to. If this coax extender exists, I could mount it somewhere farther away, plug it into the outlet, then plug the other end of the extender into the outlet right next to the TV.

or...would it be possible to use a standard ethernet extender and put some kind of coax adapter onto it?

I should clarify it is not just a distance problem, but there is physically no way to run the cable from the outside to the tv (except if it was able to plug in to a wall outlet near the source). I live in a college dorm, and for various reasons I cannot run a cable through the hall, window, wall, or wall near my room. My only option is to run it through a window far from my room, and then into the electrical outlet (cannot run cable thorugh hallway to my room). I hope this makes more sense. if not, tell me and I will try and clarify it furthur.
