Europe: USA is a member state of NATO. These are foward deployed forces for NATO.
Bosnia-Herzogovina: There in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution #1031 of 1995 which authorized a peace enforcment mission under Chapter Seven of the UN Charter.
Kosovo: There as follow-on forces after Operation Allied Force was carried out by NATO and in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution #1244 of 1999 which authorized a peace enforcement mission under Chapter Seven of the UN Charter.
Egypt: Monitoring force in the Sinai Desert in compliance with provisions of the Camp David Accords which achieved a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel in the Carter administration.
Djibouti: Part of the forward-deployed force fighting terrorism in the Horn of Africa and interdiction of terrorist movements and activity in the Red Sea.
Philippines: Training of Philippine armed force units to fight against terrorists of Abu Sayef in Mindanao and Sulu Province. Abu Sayef is a branch of Jama Islamiya, the terrorist organization which carried out the bombings in Bali Indonesia.
Japan: UN Forces (Rear) for the Peace Enforcement Mission on the Korean Peninsula which was authorized by the UN Security Council in Resolution #82 of June 25, 1950 in reaction to the North Korean invasion of South Korea.
South Korea:
UN Command (Forward) in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution #82 of June 25, 1950 which authorized a Peace Enforcement Mission under Chapter Seven of the UN Charter.

Bosnia/Kosovo: Still acting as Police from 10+ years ago. maintains a few bases anymore. However this is NATO thing.

Europe: there are military bases in Germany, Italy etc,

Philippines: Military bases there aswell, same with Japan and South Korea,

Iraq, Afganistan: Self Explanitory

Egypt: Operation Bright Star

Djibouti (Qatar): Military base there aswell.

Deployment doesn't always mean "war" or some kind of fighting going on.

Thats over 300,000 troops deployed. How can I tell you what each of them is doing?

were trying to keep everything kool with the outher countries but i think were makeing it worse we think we own the world and u dont hear about all there troops over here i think its stupid
