Well, truth is somewhat subjective in that someone can make a statement that they believe to be true but turns out to be false or partially true. It does not make them a liar.
It makes them mistaken and human.

A lie is a statement that the teller knows is false, but presents as truth or fact.

Truth is truth unless of course, you are a scientist. Then truth keeps changing all the time.

A lie is anything that differs from God's plan. So basically, none of us are living in absolute truth. It's getting your heart, mind, thoughts, soul, and flesh to live according to God's plan, and that's not 100% possible while we are on Earth.
