I don't know WHAT this is, but it's f*ckin' scary looking...and yeah, I agree. It is two fingers. My best guess is the empty nailbeds of two fingers, where the nails were lost to some sort of fungal infection or were pulled out and are attempting to heal??? Not sure about any of this. Please repost w/ an answer when you get one.

It looks like severe burn or other injury to pads of two fingers [ you can see the ends of the fingernails at top ].

It looks like severe fungal infection. Could also be syphillis...can't really tell.
