i saw some company is selling a lens and instruction to convert a normal tv into a 150" projector does this really work and does any one know what the picture quality on these are like?

LOL. Its basically a magnifying glass that goes in front of the TV. Dont waste your money, as a friend of mine did. We still laugh about that one.... Quality was CRAPTASTIC!

These kits will make an image that big. The picture will be grainy and it will not be as bright. The picture will also be backwards. Kind of like watching TV in a mirror. With the picture being that far away from the TV the picture will not be very sharp.
I would not recommend it.

Get a magnifying glass. Get up close to your TV set. Look at the picture with the magnifying glass. See all the grainyness?? That is what the picture will look like.
