Poorest fitness of troops? USAF.

(Tons of overweight, unfit couch potato types.)

Least ability to devastate then enemy? ARMY

(no strategic nukes, though they do have some tactical nukes.)

(Coast Guard is in the Department of Homeland Security, not the Department of Defense so technically is not "military.")

Biggest whiners? NAVY.

(All of their weapons systems go way over budget and some got canceled for that fact, then the Navy whines about it. Read up on the Navy stealth fighter.)

No way a weak sister? MARINES!!!!!

The Air Force is the most laid back, but not weak by any stretch, they usually destroy cities before the Marines get there, and yea, a lot of overweight people in the USAF but we dont need to run 15 miles a day or anything, most AF members are mechanics or some kind of office job, we can fix planes just fine, regardless of weight. Im personally in great shape, as are a lot of AF personal, a lot of bad examples are out there of course, but ive seen fat people in all the branches, not just the AF. But with all the weapons dropped by the AF, and potential we have, and being the youngest military branch, i would say were pretty tough.

I wouldn't say the weakest branch. All branches serve a purpose and are good at what they do. As for maybe the most laid back branch, I would have to say AF.
The coast guard I don't think gets the credit due to them. We call them puddle pirates. But if I am in a jam on the water, I wouldn't want no one else but the US Coast Guard. When the nation is not at war, they are out in a category 4 hurricane saving people.

The Merchant Marines. Look it up. They've been in every conflict since the Revolutionary War and are the main maritime supply transport. Merchant Marines can apply for Veteran status (DD214). Amazing bunch of guys. Google them and find out more. usmm.org

None...without each service we couldnt function as a whole. Most people might call a certain service "chumps" but that is because they are personally biased.

None!

The more I have worked at the joint level the more I appreciate the contributions of each force. I wouldn't leave any of them at home!
