Yes, the scientific theory behind this is a so-called planet X that is some sort of sun-dwarf or "unborn sun" that revolves around our sun in an irregular elliptic curve and comes very close to earth every 3000 years or so and causes turbulence with the sun which leads to a magnetic polar shift on earth which leads to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. According to estimates (a book I've read on the subject) it will come closest to earth in 2013 (and not 2012) but the damage will have taken place starting from a year or two before that. And according to this theory the climatic change we're witnessing at this moment are caused by the approching planet X.

God and Christ have been around since the beginning and his plan has been made known to mankind through the ages, even before Christ came in the flesh. That is why many were looking forward to the event. As for those who never heard about it in this life, they will have the opportunity after death as a spirit to hear about it and to accept it before the resurrection. All God's children will have an opportunity to accept or reject. God is wise and fair and just.

The Scriptures indicate that they looked forward in faith to the coming Messiah, even as we look back and accept by faith that Jesus DID come as the Messiah.
The Bible says, "Abraham BELIEVED God, and THAT was counted as his righteousness."
It's always been an issue of faith - trusting God.
God NEVER left the world without a witness, and if nothing else, just looking at nature tells you that there is something more. It's just that "There is none who seek after God." - not back then, not today.
God will NEVER send anybody to hell who didn't deserve it. God is NOT unjust.
I hope this helps.

They were given a chance....when jesus was crucified those three days he was dead he went down into the pits of hell and took the keys of death, hell , and the grave from satan. For three days he preached the gospel to all down there because they hadn't been able to accept the gift of eternal life because he had not come yet.
It's in the bible read matthew, mark , luke , and john.
jesus did give them a chance and I'm pretty sure most of them didn't want to stay. I mean would u ...I wouldn't ee burning or living which one do u think they chose.. .

I personally don't believe in this...jesus dieing for sins....i could be wrong.
But from what i got from what i know. Jesus didn't die for YOUR sins. He died for the sins of those before him. When he comes back.......i'm not sure if he's gonna die again, but when he's gone its the end of the world...there won't be people after him. But everyone between his last death and his next coming will be forgiven.
This is generalized, i know some Christians think differently ....some i know say they can do whatever the hell they want and they're going to heaven for believing in jesus......others i know are like no..."Christians" can still go to hell.

Since the fall of man, the basis of salvation has always been the death of Christ. No one, either prior to the cross or since the cross, would ever be saved without that one pivotal event in the history of the world. Christ's death paid the penalty for past sins of Old Testament saints and future sins of New Testament saints.
The requirement for salvation has always been faith. The object of one's faith for salvation has always been God. The psalmist wrote, "Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him" (Psalm 2:12). Genesis 15:6 tells us that Abraham believed God and that was enough for God to account it to him for righteousness (see also Romans 4:3-8). The Old Testament sacrificial system did not take away sin, as Hebrews 9:1-10:4 clearly teaches. It did, however, point to the day when the Son of God would shed His blood for the sinful human race.
What has changed through the ages is the content of a believer's faith. God's requirement of what must be believed is based on the amount of revelation He has given mankind up to that time. This is called progressive revelation. Adam believed the promise God gave in Genesis 3:15 that the Seed of the woman would conquer Satan. Adam believed Him, demonstrated by the name he gave Eve (v.20) and the Lord indicated His acceptance immediately by covering them with coats of skin (v.21). At that point that is all Adam knew, but he believed it.
Abraham believed God according to the promises and new revelation God gave him in Genesis 12 and 15. Prior to Moses, no Scripture was written, but mankind was responsible for what God had revealed. Throughout the Old Testament, believers came to salvation because they believed that God would someday take care of their sin problem. Today, we look back, believing that He has already taken care of our sins on Calvary (John 3:16; Hebrews 9:28).

1. The Lord (not lord) in the Garden of Eden was the Lord Jesus Christ; despite the addition to God's word about 100 years ago commonly referred to as the red letter edition.

Jesus death was in the mind of God before time began, so when people believed God, and lived according to his word, sought after his nature, etc. (from the beginning of mankind), they were covered by the blood of Jesus. They went to heaven just like believers today.

The Old Testament is chock full of pictures of Christ. The animal sacrifices were pictures of Christ's sacrifice. Everyone who trusted in God's promise to provide a Savior was saved.
