I have recently become VERY interested in lucid dreaming but, I have a few questions I would like some answers to just to clarify. They are as follows:

- What is actually possible in a lucid dream? I hear some saying "anything" but I wanna hear it from some others.
- How does one actually control the dream? Does the dreamer just decide that they can fly and they do? Do they just manifest a car and its there?
- Are the following possible in lucid dreams; driving, sex, swimming, eating, morphing into any another being (organic or inorganic - ie: I wanna be a snail, a tree, water, a rock, a musical note, Britney Spears), music, death of yourself or others -> coming back to life?
- Can one decide when the dream stops?
- Can one shift from one dream to another?

Thats just a start to the many questions I have. Please and thanks, in advance.

OK. So anythings possible. Thanks for answering that. However, that still leaves some questions unanswered. Please refer to the question.

To answer your questions as you asked them...

-Ok, yes, you've heard that.
-I've had to repeat that I knew it was a dream to myself several times before I could have any control. To fly, I started like I was jumping, but I couldn't lift from a stand still. I'm not the best lucid dreamer so I'd believe it's possible to have even greater control.
-I'd be lieing if I said no to any of these. =) These are dreams. Just because you're aware that you are dreaming does not change the rules.
- Generally, I don't think you can any time you want.
- To change your own dream scene is quite simple. If you are meaning to shift to another person's dream, I don't know of it to be but...???

Most of these things are "possible" but it takes long, hard practice to get good at any of them, of course, just like in the real world. Often "they" (the controller of dreams!) do not let you do what you want all the time. I have had many lucid dreams that were getting annoying and nightmarish, I knew I was dreaming, and I willed myself to awake. But -- I usually just wake up into ANOTHER level of the dream. Over and over. The flying is great, but also takes practice. Have fun with it!

Yes everything you stated is possible! You are only limited by your imagination! It can be as crazy or sane as you want! It takes practice, but yes you want to fly and you are flying!
