Have you thought about talking to a Holistic Health therapist. You probably just need to talk to someone about being burned out. You probably don't need prescribed meds (and I would be skeptical of any therapist that offers that to you right off the bat. Unfortunately, that's how some therapists 'solve' problems)

Before, you go, I would also get a journal and start writing. It doesn't have to be perfect, just get it on paper. Once you get yor thoughts and your anguish documented on paper you will be able to go back and read if that is how you really feel. Also, if you do decide to go to a therapist, you can take the journal with you to help you explain anything you are feeling/going through.

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

First, take a moment just to relax and catch your breath, letting the storm of thoughts that may be filling your mind like a hurricane dissipate.

Now, begin to consider what you have experienced in your life time, what you have seen, and know to be true or believe to be true.

Try to see objectively as opposed to what may have been your subjective view.

Insha'Allah, now pray for guidance with a sincere heart being open to the answer God will give to you.

I once found myself in a similar situation. One day, when I was not expecting it, God put a book in my hand and I read it from cover to cover. It answered all of my questions, resolved all of my issues and brought such joy to my heart and peace to my mind that I felt as if I was floating among the clouds.

The book was and is the Holy Qur'an.

Please, insha'Allah, read it with an open mind and open heart. Then, go on-line using "Islam" as you search engine and read the information provided by other Muslims regarding Islam.

Please, insha'Allah, consider it all carefully and may Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala guide you as those whom He guides are truly guided and can not be lead astray.

Ma'a salaam.

i feel the same way buddy. i cant really say who to turn to cause i haven't figured it out for myself, but what i always do is just try to make myself smile and not think about it. some will say try religion or try sex. both are good and in some cases a answer but if your really feeling that lost and confused and exhausted, maybe expanding your hobbies and try to become open minded towards other ideas and ideals. i am sorry that your feeling like this but to be truthful, i feel the same way myself. there are others like you out there. if you try religion, please be openminded to other religions. hope this helps.

You're exhausted coz you're confused, you're confused coz you're lost and you're lost coz you're exhausted.

So who do you have in mind when you're asking who you can turn to? With all the varied answers here, you must be more confused. I suggest you turn to no one but to yourself.

It is comforting to know that with God, all trials and tribulations have a divine purpose. We are never alone. He told His disciples that they would be scattered, leaving Him alone, and yet "I am not alone, because the Father is with me. "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world." (John 16:32, 33)

"...I will never leave you, nor forsake you; therefore I can boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me" (Hebrews 13:5b,6). Trials develop godly character. "...we exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...

You start praying for help to Jesus. I quit smoking by letting Jesus do it, I knew I was to weak. I had tried several times and failed but he did it for me. For a non smoker it sounds like a small thing but believe me it is not. If he will do that for me he will help you. On the Christian programs they want you to pray a prayer they make but I say look in to your heart and say what is there. He will be happy. The Devil will be after you but say I belong to Jesus.
