After all, all that gun stuff is very phallic. Is Republican Senator Larry Craig is a good role model? He loves guns, he loves Jesus, he hates the Constitution, and loves men. That's what made this country great?

That's a good question.
Traditionally the NRA is very conservative. The conservatives like to portray that they are Christian and most talk a big line of being against gay marriage, gay relationships and sometimes gays in general. I would say that it probably wouldn't work well, unless the NRA board member is secretly gay.
As for Larry Craig. Maybe he loves guns maybe he doesn't I would need to see a voting record to know for sure. Does he love Jesus? Maybe, politians say and do anything to get elected, maybe he claims to like jesus to get the votes of the religious people. All Senators dislike parts of the constitution, face the facts. That's why they are there; to change it. Of course he loves men, he would have to in order to do what he was doing in the men's room.

The two have nothing to do with each other. You can be gay and love hunting, shooting, and banging dudes. It is your choice. Larry Craig is kind of a strange story because, unless I am mistaken most gay men don't go looking for sex in an airport bathroom. He was looking for some action and got busted, and if he is gay then he is gay, and he needed to live that life and not anything else. I don't condemn him for it, but he needs to be the person he is. And what made this country great is the freedom to be individuals. There are more opportunities here than anywhere else in the world and anyone can be what they want. Even a gay man in the NRA.

Trying to figure out right from wrong on this forum isn't really the right place to find out. I read Hunting on this forum topic not send me help via your answer will help me figure out if I am gay or is it okay if Craig is and be a member of NRA.
Matt M you have a pretty good answer. My friend spend more time hunting and fishing. Wondering about Craig being gay or not is a waist of good field time..
