Im applying online for Sales Associate position at Gap and it states that I require to put down at least one entry of work experience. I checked and it didnt say that it required work experience to get a job as a SA at Gap. So, what can I put down as Work Experience ? Would BabySitting count ?

Babysitting would count and they will make a great reference too. Good luck with the job search.

It may not require work experience but if you are competing with others for the same job the more experience you have will make you more competitive.
They are looking for experience you have working with people. Baby sitting shows that you have the trust of the parents and the patience to work with the child. Present it in that manner. If you have done fund raisers in school where you have to meet people and try to get them to contribute either time or money you should put that also. Think back on things you have done in clubs or classes that might apply to this and write it up in such a way that it tells the store that you can handle the job you are applying for.

If you have no work experience than put down a name you have done stuff for in the past.

But during your interview tell them you are very enthusiastic about the position. You Love the Clothes and the way they are made.

Follow up with How much you love helping people get the most out of their shopping experience and That customer satisfaction is your number one goal.

Then Tell them you can start tomorrow.

Yes babysitting would count, but you should try to put something you have done that is relevant to the job! Unless you can take aspects of babysitting and relate them to the role you are going for. (Such as able to deal with more than one person/child at once, multitasking etc)

Good luck!

Use the words "child care" and add that you prepared meals, drove, organize their days and offered a safe and caring environment for 2 children.
If you teach Sunday School, or volunteered to walk for Diabetes, use that, too. It takes dedication, preparation, and caring to do any of those things. All qualities a work-place
would value.
Use anything you did in school, like wrote for the yearbook or volunteered to sing in the choir. Even volley-ball team.
Offer references from your baby-sitting employers and your teachers who worked with you.
Did you ever mow grass for a neighbor or wlak his dog? Use it.
Write down everything you ever did and who your "boss" was, and the name and address of the work place. Keep this with you for future reference when you are older.
Good luck.

They just want to make sure you are responsible. Babysitting would be fine. Just be honest with them and let them know you don't have any sales experience but really want the job. Alot of times employers are really just seeing whether somebody really wants the job or not.

Sure, babysitting counts. And put down any after school volunteer type jobs you have done. Basically, they want to know if you are a committed worker.

Yes, it sounds like you're young, so you probably dont have any job experience. I would put
Child Care instead of saying babysitting
also, you could include house-cleaning, organizing, or volunteer work you have done.

You can just put down nothing. Going for a job like that isn't like going for a real job in corporate america where a REAL resume, actually matters.
